Coming into the company as the first technical writer (other than the owner, I realized that the company’s 400 page flagship system manual, while excellent, had begun to be stuffed full of material that would be better addressed with a series of product and integration guides. I slimmed the manual down to 200-page guide that instructs how to use a GNAT Box firewall system, defining concepts such as IP packets, Network Address Translation (NAT), and Stateful Packet Inspection, and showing the advantages and precise process for implementing all of the firewall features.
I interviewed and researched, wrote and edited, designed and published to PDF and professional printing for Global Technology Associates.
